Project Aimee is a basketball media channel that repurposes long-form content into high-impact daily clips for TikTok and YouTube. I started it to prove to potential employers that I could grow an account on my own, from zero. It's where I sharpen my craft, from writing hooks and pacing edits to making content visually compelling. It also gives me a dataset to reference when talking about performance, growth, and audience behavior. What started as a portfolio piece has turned into a side hustle.

TikTok prioritizes discovery over followers, so I treated every upload as a new viewer's first introduction to my brand. I stopped passive clipping and moved to active curation, identifying high-debate basketball topics with potential before editing. My approach focused on visual hooks, daily uploads, and tight pacing to hit a 30%+ retention rate. Ultimately leading to massive success within a few months.
